From my Vlog. Watch on YouTube if you’re more of a video person.

Thank you so much for being here! Grab your coffee, tea, wine, cocktail – no one is judging. In the video I have a 50 % off coupon for the shop. I also have two gift ideas for you. And I want to share my favorite/best scrapbook album with you!
I know it’s been a minute – I didn’t fall off a cliff literally but maybe figuratively. My computer died and using an iPad to edit videos isn’t as easy as editing on a computer so I sort of gave up. Then I missed my channel and I can’t help it but I really want to make videos.
Life has been crazy and I was waiting for it to get less crazy to make more videos, but I finally realized, life is always crazy… good and bad things are always happening and I can make videos or not. And since I really enjoy making videos for you… here we are.
I did get booked on a few acting jobs – very thankful for that. I absolutely love being on set, it is the best. These last few gigs were great but getting the footage back this time… so weird. I don’t know what they do with makeup but somehow I look like a stranger compared to most of my other acting work and all of my YouTube videos. I might have to start doing my own makeup on set? Have you ever experienced anything like this – where you don’t look like you?
My nails have gotten much healthier and longer. I am so happy! They look great! I think because I have stubby fingers my hands look better with long nails. If you want to know how I did this please leave me a comment.
While I was fallen off said figurative cliff I went down a rabbit hole looking for the perfect planner. I am so excited to show you the planner I found – finally! I am not getting a commission for this but I love it so much I want you to know about it and it would be a great gift as well. I could not find one planner that had all the things I wanted – lines on the monthly pages. Weekly and daily pages – just doesn’t seem to exist anywhere. So, FOR DAYS I scoured the inter-webs, until at last I happened upon this planner. I cannot tell you how I got there – I just know that I was obsessed searching and searching! This is going to blow your planner brain… Here it is! The Dailee.
I LOVE how it has lined months and it has tabs, AND it has daily and weekly pages – I don’t think its too much to ask for daily and weekly pages but most planner creators are not having it – it is either daily or weekly or, God forbid, monthly! Why can’t I have all three? Now I do! Apparently these sell out quickly so you should go check now: https://the-dailee.com/collections/daily-planner
They also have student planners and creator planners they also have digital! Ok go check, I’ll wait…
Ok now I want to talk about scrapbooks / albums. You know the things you put all your lovely photos, layouts, and designs in? This is very important to me as I spend a lot of time scrapbooking and I don’t want to ruin all that hard work with a poorly executed final product and I don’t want to ruin it with an album that is going to fall apart or isn’t going to last. Here’s what I use and why
Best scrapbook album: Creative Memories
And not because I am a Creative Memories advisor, it is because they are the best in my humble opinion. There was a moment around 2012? 2013? that Creative Memories went out of business – you can’t spend more than you make, after a while it catches up to you. They got a new business model and business people and got their act together. However, in that window of Creative Memories being closed I tried my hardest to find a scrapbook album that worked for me. I feel like I really suffered. I know first world problems; however, it’s true – no other album compares. Here are some reasons why:
The 3 ring binder albums are not sophisticated looking, they are a tad on the obnoxious side. The rings are in the way of looking at photos of our travels and our families. The rings are very distracting, like clutter in my opinion. And when you close a 3 ring album it looks like a triangle with the ends close together and the middle where the rings are big and bulky. The only things a 3 ring album has going for it is you can add or remove pages and it lays flat. A bound album on the other hand does not lay flat and you cannot add or remove pages. What if you have 33 pages for your child’s first year album but the bound album comes with 20 pages? Or what if it comes with 40 pages? Now you either don’t have enough pages or you have extra blank pages in the back… This is where Creative Memories comes in…
Their albums are scratch and stain resistant – I can attest to experience with both of those being true. It lays flat. There aren’t any bulky distracting rings in the middle taking away from my photos and breaking up those 2 page layouts. Creative Memories albums have a lifetime guarantee. Need I say more? You work hard on your lovely pages and your photos are precious, don’t ruin them with an album that might fall apart and isn’t up to the level of your dedication and hard work. See for yourself. Purchase an album on my link – you can return it if you don’t like it. https://www.creativememories.com/cm/krystina
You don’t have to have the same opinion as me. That’s ok! I don’t need you to agree with me – I just like to share what I LOVE.
I went on a scrapbook retreat and I have some videos from that for you that I am editing – but on my retreat one of the gals brought a fun little gift so I thought I would share in case you are looking for gift ideas: The Q&A a day 5 year journal. There are a bunch of different 5 year journals some more specific than others. Here are some excerpts from this one… (blank) is funny, where do you want to travel to next, what new activity have you tried, who is cute. I love how you answer one question a day and then you can go back and look at the answers of each year. https://amzn.to/48DKfqk
As I mentioned I am editing videos some new videos for you! They are: packing for a scrapbook retreat and going on a scrapbook retreat. I am so excited for these videos, but like I said I am editing on my iPad so it is a little tricky. It takes longer plain and simple so give me a week or two… or three. Hopefully Santa Claus (aka my hubby) will bring me a computer. I also have some other videos scheduled to shoot that I think you’ll love. So make sure you’re subscribed to my channel so you don’t miss anything!
While you’re waiting for my new videos be sure to check out my old videos in case there is something you missed on my YouTube channel.
xoxo,
punch paper love
